Dassault will now sell directly to customers through a value added reseller (VAR) channel. All new customers will be managed under the VAR channel, whilst existing customers can be transitioned over to VAR accounts beginning with immediate effect, which is expected to be completed by early 2008. Countries currently being transitioned include the UK, USA and Korea.

As part of this new VAR channel strategy, Applied and Dassault Systèmes have now signed an agreement where Applied will offer the full range of Dassault Systèmes PLM Solutions in the UK.

Founder and Managing Director Shaun Clark states. “It is our in-depth knowledge of the Dassault Systèmes PLM software portfolio combined with our extensive experience in implementing and supporting DS PLM solutions within our customer base that means we are uniquely placed to extend our reach and flexibility under the new VAR model.”

Applied is now one of the UK’s longest established Dassault Systèmes PLM solutions partners with more than a decade of experience of implementing the CATIA, ENOVIA software brands and more recently DELMIA. We have over 200 customers in the UK across the Automotive, Aerospace, Rail, Consumer Goods and Industrial Products market sectors.

Our value proposition is that we offer Virtual Product Development and Lifecycle Management Solutions to engineering businesses by deploying the best PLM technologies available combined with our expert consulting, training, IT and engineering project support services.
