Overview

The CATIA Version 5 DMU Kinematics Simulator 2 product simulates mechanism motion in very large digital mockups for full design review. Users intuitively manipulate the motion with mouse-based actions that are supplemented by pop-up icon information. This system offers one of the widest variety of motion simulation joints of any system currently available. Complex motions for joints acting as driving commands are graphically simulated through evolution curves. Clash, clearance checking and minimal distance computations provide additional design review analysis information.
