Web Based Training Solutions
Applied have run classroom based training for many years. We do, however, realise that due to the pressures of modern company requirements this is not always exactly in line with project pressures, and time constraints.
We do not recommend that classroom training is replaced by electronic training, but we do suggest that on-line learning can be complimentary.
To this end, Applied can offer a number of electronic learning tools to supplement classroom training as outlined below:
Electronic assessment:
To be able to understand what training you need depends on what you already know! To help you find out what training you or your employees need, Applied have developed a suite of assessment tools.
These electronic web-based assessment tools are in the form of random multiple-choice questions, related to the Dassaut Systèmes software modules. The results can be displayed as a total, but more usefully, an indication as to areas of strengths and weaknesses are displayed, helping with future training requirements.

Dassault Systèmes User Companion:
The User Companion is a suit of web based learning tools which is available to support the continuous learning requirements employees have to carry out their jobs. The Companion products combine a number of different techniques that can be used to understand the products better – videos, step-by-step instructions, downloadable worked examples, as well as comprehensive presentations covering methodology as well as functionality.
In addition there are a number of integrated tests to ensure that you have understood the topics presented.
The Companion software can be worked through at each individual’s own pace, and can be referred to as refresher information should a particular module be used infrequently.
